Homecoming‍ ‍

Homecoming is an ongoing photographic series exploring belonging and the search for home through self-portraiture within the Australian landscape.

Working alone and responding to materials encountered on site, each photograph emerges through improvisation and physical negotiation. The process is guided as much by chance and discovery as it is by intention, with the resulting works shaped by the particular conditions of each location.

Using the landscape as both collaborator and metaphor, Homecoming explores the ways we negotiate connection, acceptance, and belonging. The photographs do not offer resolution so much as a series of attempts, returning again and again to questions of where and how we come to belong.
